Survival Apnea Australia presents freediving and surfing knowledge giving students a deeper understanding of what the human body and mind go through when stressed under water on a single breath. Participants will learn theory and practise simple effective exercises and training methods to develop adaptations to overcome “Intense situations” with more ease whilst developing an understanding of the breath hold journey. Topics covered include: Dive Reflex. Urge to Breath. Relaxation technics. Static Breath Holds. Safety when training. Swimming and Dynamic Apnea training methods.
Gear list - swim goggles (not a dive mask), surf wetsuit, swimmers / boardies. NOTE: Although our pool is indoors and water is a constant 27 decrees C students can expect to be in the water for a couple of hours.
